Creekwood C.A.R.E.S
Christians Accepting Responsibility for Each other through Service

Whether you feel called to pray or need prayer, feel called to care or need care, feel called to cook for your church family or need a helping hand from your church family, Creekwood U.M.C. desires to show care.  Creekwood C.A.R.E.S.  is a ministry that offers a place for members to serve and be served.

Care: Individuals that are committed to caring for the people of our congregation as well as the community

Prayer: Individuals that are committed to praying for our congregational & community needs. The Prayer Ministry encompasses different opportunities to lift up the needs of our church and community in prayer.   The Prayer Team includes individuals that are committed to praying for our congregational and community needs.  Each week the prayers that are submitted to the church through the worship pads or email are lifted up by this team.

Prayer Pagers: The Prayer Pager Ministry offers pagers to those suffering in various times of crisis.  A family member or friend may call an assigned number to a pager and simply enter his or her zip code.  Within minutes of the call, the pager gently vibrates and displays the sender's zip code, letting the recipient know (feel) that another prayer has been offered on the recipient's behalf.

Prayer Quilts: Prayer quilts are made with love by members of Creekwood and are available for those undergoing a deep prayer concern.

Catering Ministry:  Creekwood has a group of people that cooks for the needs of individuals in the church or community in a grieving or crisis situation.

Divorce Care Ministry: Divorce Care and Divorce Care for Kids, a 13 week course, designed to help those recovering from the hurt of separation or divorce.
